November Locomotive Builder Plates Auction

Welcome to Western Railroad Americana’s November Locomotive Builder Plates Auction.  We have a fine selection of 44 lots of both Eastern and Western plates available.  Please take a few minutes to read the following.

We realize a lot of these plates have been off the market for many years and we wanted to give all of our customers a fair chance in acquiring plates for their collection. The sale of the plates will be handled as an auction with auction call backs to make sure everyone gets a fair chance.  For those of you who bought plates from the Ron Wright sale last year, this is exactly the same process.

Below is the catalog with pictures and minimum bids.  We are taking bids now until Sunday, November 12th.  The bidding closes at midnight Pacific Time on November 12th.  We take bids via phone or email.  The website will be updated with current bids and noted below.

Bidding starts at the minimum and will be handled in $25 increments.  These are cash prices so check or other feeless payment options are required.  There is no buyers premium and shipping/insurance is charged at actual!  And don’t forget, we offer 90 day payment options, no interest.

Everyone gets a chance to raise their bid until the last man/woman is standing and this will be handled by the auction call back process starting Monday.  We hope to have all the bidding closed out by Wednesday so we can move onto payments and shipping arrangements before things get busy for the holiday season.

If you need additional photos or have questions about a plate, please If you have any questions about a specific item or need additional pictures, please Contact Us.

We hope this method is satisfactory with everyone and everyone feels like they are getting a fair chance. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call us directly. Thank you and we hope you can find a plate to add to your collection.

As Always, thank you for your continued support!  Happy Holidays.

Sincerely,
Erik Wightman and Jason Sanford
